Ryerson’s is currently seeking a RAP Customer Engagement Manager to join our Sales team in the Fresno, CA market.

This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning activities to support achievement of sales and operational targets.
  • Set and track sales targets and KPIs.
  • Effectively lead department staff by coaching, developing, communicating, delegating, and holding staff accountable.
  • Create a team-oriented environment which motivates staff and keeps employees engaged in their jobs and the Company.
  • Identifies inefficiencies in both inter-departmental and intra-departmental sales/programs processes (such as contract review) and implements or negotiates to drive changes/improvements to these processes.
  • Oversee product pricing and customer quoting procedures.
  • Serve as liaison between Field Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Production and other functional personnel as required to support efficient and effective order fulfillment process and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain proper employment levels through effective selection, interviewing, and training of personnel.
  • Oversee the customer feedback process to improve customer service and satisfaction levels.
Salary: $105K-158K

Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in a Metal Sales Environment or Customer Support position.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Exceptional verbal, reading, and writing communication skills to convey ideas and processes.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
  • Ability to complete work assignments accurately and quickly, while focusing on accomplishing the goal.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of metals industry.

Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years

Education Required: Bachelors Degree
