Job Description Summary:

The Radiation Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring safety and compliance in all uses of radioactive materials and machine produced radiation used at Grant Medical Center and associated OhioHealth Facilities as well as program development for radiation safety for patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)AART-ODH - American Registry of Radiologic Technology - American Association of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health

ODH - Ohio Department of Health License in field BLS - Basic Life Support Field of Study: Nuclear Medicine Field of Study: Radiation Therapy Field of Study: Related Healthcare Field Years of Experience 1 year as Radiation Safety Technician or Years of Experience 3 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technician or Radiation Therapist
