Summary: Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities within our Quality Management System (ISO9001 and IATF) and our Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). Interprets, implements, and directs quality system programs to ensure quality control of production documentation and processes in accordance with corporate quality standards. This position is located in Manistee, MI and supports the Pittsburgh, PA plant remotely.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Oversight of Document Control, Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, QMS, PPAP and Corrective Action Activities
• Reviews, administers, and maintains current system registration for ISO 14001:2015 in both plants, ISO 9001:2015 in the Pittsburgh Plant and IATF 16949 in the Manistee Plant
• Participates with top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals
• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection and evaluation
• Writes Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures
• Plans and oversees personnel engaged in conducting the following audits:
• Internal Quality Audits, Layered Process Audits, Product Audits (FMEA and Control Plan), Process Audits (Work Instruction), Receiving Inspection, Dock Audits
• Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings
• Acts as our Customer Liaison and main point of contact
• Acts a Working Manager
• Occasional travel to other plant locations
• Support of Warranty Evaluation Program

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a college or technical school and 5+ years of working experience as a Quality Manager in a Manufacturing Facility
• IATF 16949
• ISO 9001
• ISO14001
• Must have Automotive Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience
• Metrology / Calibration
• Internal Auditing Experience
• Supplier Quality Management Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
