As a Quality Manager, you will:·
    • Demonstrate Drylock core values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
    • Plan, direct and manage lab activities.
    • Responsible for all quality management system controls in manufacturing and warehousing laboratory operations.
    • Lead problem solving activities to address internal and external quality concerns from discovery through to final verification of corrective/preventive actions.
    • Interact with customers as appropriate and oversee all customer complaint responses.
    • Provide leadership through coaching and mentoring to improve quality and product support team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain adherence to current quality standard certifications (ISO-2001-2015, IFS HPC, PEFC, and FDA).
    • Provide direct quality engineering support for the business unit to assure product quality, improve processes and assure that required documentation and practices meet the customers’ requirements and quality system requirements.
    • Gain additional accreditation for new standards if required.
    • Acts as management representative as required by all certification bodies.
    • Manages Document control process and systems
    • Coordinate efforts for external services (i.e. Calibration, microbiological testing, and standards.)
    • Leads CAPA and corrective action processes, championing continuous improvements
    • Manges quality department budget
    • Coach and Mentor qualify team members
    • Works cross functionally to continually improve customer satisfaction and overall profitability.

Quality Manager Qualifications:

    • 2-4 Year Technical or Engineering degree or equivalent experience

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities::

  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Must be able to read and interpret work documents
  • Must have the ability to work in teams
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math
  • Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
  • Project management skills and ability to set-up/coordinate meetings with all stakeholders
  • Organize, lead and manage multiple projects in an aggressive
  • Must be able to read and interpret production related documents (i.e. capability studies)
  • Working knowledge of various raw materials, product categories and engineering practices

Supervisory Responsibilities::

  • Set goals that are aligned with and representative of the overall company’s objective.
  • Define and communicate work requirements to employees, based on these goals and objectives.
  • Establish expectations for employee performance
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance to expectations and provide feedback
  • Foster teamwork
  • Support, coach and develop team members
  • Administer company policies.
