General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety compliance on shift
• Attend safety meetings
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities
• Lifting of yarn packages (ranging from 10-20lbs per package)
• Work 12 hour rotating shifts
• Must have good work / attendance record [not under corrective action]

• Ability to follow procedures and communicate effectively
• Basic mechanical ability
• Work & maintain lab with little supervision
• Basic math skills & use of calculator
• Ability to delegate and prioritize
• Basic understanding of yarn laboratory practices
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Fundamental computer skills (Excel and Word)
• Candidates are required to meet these minimum requirements to be considered for this job.

Qualifications:

• Proven safety performance in past job positions
• Able to repeatedly lift yarn packages (ranging from 10-20 lbs. per package)
• Work rotating shift
• Good work / attendance record
• Self-motivated
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and other software
• Extrusion problem solving experience
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding of yarn properties and testing
