What a "Day in the Life" is Like

The quality team in each facility is responsible to ensure we are following company policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure we are making safe quality food.

We are looking to hire a QA Supervisor to help support and guide the plant operations team in taking actions and making decisions to maintain the highest level of quality products.

Our Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor supports the plant by working closely with process managers to improve quality (and ultimately plant) metrics by problem-solving and driving root cause analyses. Day to day management of the lab staff and testing needs are a high priority for this role and the team to help keep the production lines current with testing results and needed help. Finally, You will also work closely with the QA manager and other QA supervisor to ensure all SQF, federal and customer requirements are met.

We're Looking for Someone With:

• Bachelor of Science degree (B. S.) in a science discipline from four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent of 5 to 6 years of job-related experience and/or training.
• Manufacturing plant experience strongly preferred

Additional Traits That Set You Apart:

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• LEAN certification or significant continuous improvement
• Certification in HACCP Principles and PCQI, as an SQF Practitioner, and participation in auditor training or a willingness to complete upon employment
• MS Office Product knowledge
