Quality Assurance – 1st Shift Job at QPS Employment Group
Position Title: Quality Assurance – 1st Shift
Wage: $21.00 + per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm
We are seeking candidates for a large food manufacturing facility in Southern Wisconsin! This is a 1st shift Quality Assurance opportunity, with a lot of potential for growth and career advancement.
Quality Assurance Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Fill in as needed for QA Floor Techs.
- Conduct chemical analysis on raw and finished product.
- Conduct micro analysis on raw and finished products.
- Understand laboratory equipment calibrations and maintenance.
- Proficient in laboratory paperwork and data entry.
- Calibration lab equipment as needed.
- Gather retest samples.
- Assist in environmental monitoring program sampling.
- Plug vats as necessary.
- Maintain food safety program documentation.
- Observe facility and equipment to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Read and record micro analysis.
- Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers.
- Prepare DMR to products or packaging Hold standard.
- Assist QA Leads as necessary.
- Assist with Product Analyst as necessary.
Quality Assurance Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to the details.
- Capable of following directions given; consistency is crucial to the position.
- Must have proficient manual dexterity to perform routine laboratory functions.
- Quality Assurance experience in a food production environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
