Purchasing Agent - Rochester Academy Charter Job at Charter Champions of Rochester
Job Description
This role will support school operations in the submission of purchase orders timely and have positive communication with the staff members regarding their purchase requests.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing for the school
- Using the purchase order option as needed
- Reviewing orders daily and expediting the urgent orders as needed
- Reconcile and confirm invoices
- Arranging food and supply orders for the events and meetings
- Making payments with credit cards occasionally
- Coordinate and communicate with the staff and vendors as needed
Requirements:
- Associate Degree minimum
- +3 Years’ relevant experience
- Computer skills to use and track online purchase requests
- Strong attention to the details
- Additional computer skills to be able to communicate via computer effectively.
- Math skills to verify purchase calculation totals and invoices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be willing to complete a security check through NYSED upon hire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $20/hour
