We are looking for a Commercial/Residential Building Materials Purchasing Agent reporting out of the Covington Branch to help take us to the next level.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• 
  Orders building materials to maintain adequate inventory at ten branch locations.
• Systematically builds orders to minimize unnecessary freight charges.
• Coordinates jobsite and stock orders.
• Negotiates with vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Coordinates with sales team to have products available as needed.
• Works with branch managers and sales team to proactively reduce slow moving products.
• Assists in cycle counts and other processes to maintain accurate inventory.
• Coordinates movement of materials between branches for improved efficiency.
