We are in search of a person to assist in the purchasing of direct imported goods at our Cranston, RI location. Buying, sourcing, or /inventory management experience is preferred. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career with a growing 65+ year family business with locations around the country.
You will be working on and becoming responsible for the following...
- Sourcing and purchasing of imported goods
- Inventory management
- Data analysis
- Data entry
- Customs, inspection, and required paperwork
- Tarif and freight calculations
- Logistics of incoming shipments/working directly with freight forwarders
- Tracking/expediting of incoming shipments
- Some administrator skills
- Working with other departments on projects/helping if/when time permits
