Project Manager - Implementation Job at Baker Hill Solutions
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving projects to successful completion, as defined by the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each client engagement. Client profile comprises a diverse set of small to medium sized banks and financial institutions. The ideal candidate exhibits a proven track record of consistently exceeding client expectations, possesses good leadership and communication traits, and the ability to influence outcomes in spite of not having a direct reporting relationship with project stakeholders (internal and client).
Essential Functions
- Define, create, and maintain project plans.
- Lead, motivate and coordinate the efforts of project teams comprised of Business Analyst, Process Consultants, and Software Developers.
- Manage the project budget and schedule.
- Manage the customer relationship throughout the duration of the project.
- Prepare, distribute, and maintain project documentation throughout the duration of the project.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management assessment to minimize project risk.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
Requirements
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Prior experience in software development or software as a service (SAAS) a plus but not required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients – including end users up to the “C-Suite” when necessary
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to exercise judgment to determine appropriate solutions to technical issues
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Banking or Financial Services Industry experience a plus but not required
