S UMMARY OF POSITION

The Project Manager will organize, track and report on all aspects of IT related projects which include IT Network Infrastructure, New Equipment/Refreshes, Software Upgrades, Security, Vendor Selection/Management, IVR Telephony, Systems Integration as well as Client-Facing Operations projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting multiple, cross-functional projects varying in complexity, scope, and duration with respect to technical and logistical issues.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Manages projects through all phases of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closure
  • Creates and maintains a variety of project documentation (e.g., project plan, charter, risk register, communication plan, test plan, stakeholder log, etc.)
  • Establishes, fosters, and manages positive and strong peer and client / business relationships, facilitate, and manage expectations and competing / shifting priorities and needs
  • Schedules one-time and recurring meetings, coordinate meeting logistics, create agendas, facilitate meetings, takes and disseminates meeting notes, and ensures follow up on action items
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and distinguish user requests from underlying business needs.
  • Provides real-time, comprehensive prioritized views of all projects thru SharePoint (internal and external views) and Microsoft Project.
  • Prepares status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
  • Facilitates change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impact on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree related to position and a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred, but not required
  • Three years experience in operations, information technology or related field.
  • Competency in IT related subject matter through relevant work experience
  • Demonstrates strong business and analytical skills, problem solving skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures.
  • Above average knowledge and skills working with various software applications (SharePoint, Microsoft Project, etc.)
  • Solid organizational skills, ability to execute tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent facilitation and communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Flexibility to travel, if necessary
