The Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Quotations and Sales Teams during the quotations process and for the successful management of all orders generated by the teams. This position will serve the Rockford, Bloomington, and Davenport locations. This position can report from any of these branch locations.

Essential Functions

• Review incoming customer purchase orders.
• Create project submittals for review.
• Review returned submittals with sales team and re-issue corrected submittals, as necessary.
• Retrieve all approved submittals and formulate plan for release of materials.
• Provide timely correspondence regarding shipping status reports and expedite material, as required.
• Ensure timely deliveries and obtain necessary proof of delivery notifications.
• Assist in the reconciliation of all freight claims.
• Provide Operation and Maintenance manuals, as required.
• Handle additional project related duties upon request.

Other Responsibilities

• Travel to various branches to meet with customers, vendors, and associates, as necessary.
• Proven and dependable driving record.
• Overnight stays in market locations, as deemed necessary.
• Potential need to visit job sites or customer’s office location.
• Evening and/or limited weekend time may be necessary.

Necessary Qualifications

• 3-5 years business work experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to navigate and retrieve information from manufacturer’s websites efficiently.
• Dependable, accountable, and a proven customer service history.
• Self-motivated and a quick learner.
• A team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task frequently and handle multiple assignments at a fast pace.
• Detail oriented and ability to solve problems independently.
• Can communicate effectively with sales team and all supply chain contacts.
• Can collaborate with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to navigate project deadlines.
• Familiarity with project-related purchase orders, project submittals, and O & M Manuals.
