Our Project Manager has a very strong relationship mindset and an exceptional attention to organization and detail. With at least 2 years of hard core, in the trenches, technical project management experience under their belt, this person should be able to demonstrate skillful project leadership and detailed technical workflow know-how, as well as meticulous follow-up and documentation. With a strong technical foundation, the Project Manager can translate complex activities into relatable and understandable project actions. This person should be able to build relationships quickly, be adept at engaging with clients, and organizing internal resources, to ensure an excellent project services experience in an environment rich in change (technology never stands still) and thrive in thinking on your feet situations.

Our ideal candidate is a hard-working and caring critical thinker, with a great go-getter attitude, enjoys helping people and does not consider any task too mundane – who doesn’t love a good checklist(!). An aptitude for logically organizing complex technical tasks, figuring things out and delivering on challenging objectives is a must. This role is vital to ensuring our clients have an exceptional experience and view us as a valuable asset to their organization and as such, is a trusted advisor to the Technical Project Lead, vCIO, and Service Manager regarding client concerns and ongoing skills development for the team.

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager position is to ensure the effective planning, execution and completion of projects within Pendello, supporting our clients throughout the project services lifecycle – expectations and outcomes are aligned and their transition back to ongoing support is seamless. Our clients are family to us and Family Matters.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with vCIO, Client Relationship Lead and Technology Coordinator to ensure seamless project lead-in, planning and timeline
  • Scoping, budgeting and procurement coordination for all project proposals
  • Create and manage detailed project plan for all operational and technical tasks
  • Manage project scope to agreed scope and financials
  • Ensure effective technical and non-technical project resourcing
  • Manage client communications to set and align expectations and ensure effective end-user awareness
  • Document, track and monitor issues to provide an exceptional client experience
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to facilitate effective client issues resolution
  • Provide regular project status and performance analysis and the successful delivery of objectives
  • Deliver seamless project wrap-up and ensure project services outcomes satisfaction
  • Administer project time, including auditing and invoicing
  • Drive client documentation as impacted by project services
  • Manage overall project pipeline capacity and timeline
  • Maintain process documentation and project templates
  • Drive cross-functional process and technical delivery improvement efforts
  • Adapt to situations and changing scenarios to grow knowledge and capabilities
  • Detailed time tracking
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • 2 Years technical project management experience
  • Microsoft 365 project management experience
  • ITIL experience preferred
  • MSP experience significant plus
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and dependability
  • Desire to learn and grow in a rapidly changing industry
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Driven and self-motivated team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • MSP experience significant plus

Hours
This is a paid full-time (40 hours/week, exempt) position.

Location & Travel

US-based only. Kansas City preferred, but this position has the potential to be remote with limited travel to our Kansas City-based office.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
