The Project Architect will have overall accountability for the architectural design, production, and project management of small to mid-sized retail and commercial projects. This role involves managing multiple projects concurrently, each in various stages of the design process. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating with project consultants and collaborating with our in-house engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Pay is DOE: $50 - $65+/hr + Sign-On Bonus

Project Architect Responsibilities:
- Client interface and coordination
- Drive design, production, and delivery of projects
- Guide the design team through the construction documentation and permit approval process
- Conduct code compliance and quality control reviews of projects
- Coordinate with consultants during all project phases
- Ensure design control and construction administration of projects
- Assist in the improvements of firm-wide documentation procedures and standards
- Support project management in staffing, fee estimating and scheduling
- Assist with proposals/budget development and project status updates
- Provide technical guidance to project staff and share expertise and knowledge within the firm
Project Architect Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Architecture preferred
- Registered Architect in good standing required, NCARB preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on all phases of architectural design, production and delivery and management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Revit - 3D rendering knowledge is a plus
- Site Planning experience and strong design skills
- Experience in a variety of projects (i.e. retail, commercial, industrial, multi-family, and mixed-use)
- Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills
