ABOUT THE JOB:
KCDC is seeking an experienced Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) professional to play a critical role in supporting the company’s efforts to continue our track record of outstanding Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance. As an expert, you will be relied upon to manage data-related initiatives and objectives related to KCDC’s community development investment activities. This role will oversee the line of business CRA program for KCDC investments including the collection, validation, and reporting of critical CRA investment data. Additionally, the role will manage and/or support projects that impact and involve the transactional data, such as process enhancements and regulatory requirements changes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Oversee and maintain/update formal line of business CRA policies and procedures to assure comprehensive adherence to corporate standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities and actively engage in efforts that improve or streamline qualification, validation, and reporting processes
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide consulting or advisory assistance to business and internal partners on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain current knowledge of the CRA, CRA-related regulatory precedents, and industry trends
  • Understand and relay regulatory policies and control environments as well as emerging CRA and Community Development risks
  • Act as liaison between the line of business and the KeyBank CRA team
  • Assume a leadership role in the timely production and robust analysis of CRA performance
SUCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • Very strong attention to detail with the ability to focus on data and quality control
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage concurrent responsibilities, and prioritize according to shifting and sometimes accelerated deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to research and interpret data from various sources
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others towards shared goals
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to navigate and communicate effectively across lines of business
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience managing compliance with established policies and procedures around data integrity and reporting
  • Experience reviewing Community Development investment level documentation
  • Strong knowledge of tax credit financing and financing of multi-family real estate developments and other Community Development investment types
  • 3+ years’ experience in the Community Reinvestment ACT (CRA) field including CD Investment data validation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • At least 2 years of experience in data management, compliance, auditing, document review, or any combination
  • Experience with project management
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000 to $140,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
