Job Summary
The F.M Kirby Neurobiology Center is hiring a Program Coordinator II to join our administrative team. We are seeking a candidate with great organizational skills, strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently. The Kirby admin team contributes vital support in our Center’s efforts to advance knowledge and develop cures for disorders and injuries of the nervous system. The Program Coordinator II shall be responsible for:
  • Administrative support for department T32 grant
  • Administrative support for 1-2 principal investigators
  • Assisting with and expanding EDIB programming for Kirby Center and Department of Neurology
  • Helping plan and coordinate Kirby Center events
  • Some administrative support for clinical research projects (coordinate scientific reviews, database updates, run reports)
  • Assisting administrative manager with some onboarding of personnel (core users, interns, high school students)

To qualify, you must have:
  • Associate’s degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
