The Program Administrator ensures deliverables for all Federal, State, private and corporate foundation grants are met, including adhering to approved budgets, timelines, and strategic plans. Works in tandem with the Grant Writer/Coordinator and Projects Accountant with interdepartmental support from Directors and Managers. The mission of the Program Administrator is to contribute to program success by ensuring the following: 1) compliance with all funders, district, local, state, and federal requirements; 2) timely completion of grant deliverables; 3) full engagement of grant partners; and 4) appropriate expenditures within approved grant timelines and budgets.

MINIMUM OF QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or Master's in Project Management, Business,
  Social Sciences, Healthcare, or otherwise applicable field, preferred.
• 
  Licensure/Certification/ Registration: Certification in grant writing or project management, preferred.
  
  Experience: Experience in grant writing, and/or grant management, preferred. Rural health experience and/or interest in public health, preferred.
• 
  Ability to efficiently perform duties with minimal supervision and within designated deadlines. Ability to retrieve, communicate, and present data and information both verbally and in writing. Must be able to express and/or exchange ideas in a professional manner. Ability to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload/projects. Detail oriented. Must have ability to organize, direct, and speak at public meetings and interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the public. Maintain confidentiality.
• Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, expected to work 36-40 hours per week. Typical work hours and days are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility is needed for community event participation. Some evening and weekend availability required.
