Shift
1st 6:30AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday

General Summary:

Production Support include entry level positions such as: crating, packing,light assembly. The primary responsibilty for these roles is to prepare small assembly products for the assembly line. These roles require the ability to read drawings and basic electrical schematics for assembly. Additionally, these roles finish product for shipping which involves crating the products, labeling them with shipping information, and loading them on to truck beds to be shipped.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Crater - Fabricates wooden crates or boxes based on product specification, using wood working handtools and powered tools to include saw, staple and heat gun, and packs the product for shipment. Work involves special bracing to protect products in transit.

Light Assembler - Tasks involve sub-assembly operations, to include performing repetitive work station line operations to assemble small and limited variety of parts and components, work also includes routing, cutting and running wires, soldering and working with small connectors and other small parts into a completed product using blueprints, sketches and written instructions.


Employee is expected to:

  • Conform to all safety guidelines while performing duties and operating equipment
  • Identify work to be performed via company systems
  • Maintain daily housekeeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Cross-train


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Between 6-12 months prior manufacturing experience, preferred
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and handle basic tools
  • Experience reading blueprints
  • Stable work history


Physical Demands:

  • Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
