What is the role?
Various shop positions:
Machine Operator- Must be able and willing to learn the complete operation of the EVG. This includes but not limited to: Reading cut sheets, filling out daily production reports, reading a tape measure, changing dies, adjusting all controls required to run the EVG. Directing the EVG team members on a daily basis. Working with supervisors on daily production requirements. Working with maintenance personnel when problems occur.
Asst. Machine Operator-Must be able and willing to learn the complete operation of the EVG. This includes but not limited to: Reading cut sheets, filling out daily production reports, reading a tape measure, changing dies, adjusting all controls required to run the EVG. Working with EVG Operator and supervisors on daily production requirements.
Operator/Machine Helper-Must be able to read a tape measure, lift, pull & push over 50-lbs. must be able to weld and use a cutting torch.
Slitter Operator-Must be able, and willing to learn the complete operation of the Slitter. This includes but not limited to: Set up of knives, filling out daily production reports, reading a tape measure, changing over arms, operating and adjusting all controls required to run the Slitter, welding and cutting torch experience. Working with the other Slitter operator, and supervisors on daily production requirements. Work with maintenance personnel when required.
Serrator Operator-Must be able to learn, and understand the operation of the Wire drawer and Serrator. To include adjusting cutting wheels (serrator) adjusting cam followers as needed, welding and cutting torch experience. Changing dies on wire drawer. Overhead crane experience.
Paint Line Operator- Requirements: Must be able to learn, and understand the operation of the Powder Coat paint system. To include reading, and understanding the operation manual, adjusting powder flow, and pressures as needed. Rebuilding paint guns, changing filters as needed. Work in a heated oven when needed. Fill out required production paperwork.
Paint Line Helper-Must be able to work on a raised moving platform. Help with changing filters as needed. Clean out paint booth, and assist the operator with changeover duties. Fill out required production paperwork. Assist with general maintenance items. Must be able to use a fork lift. Load or unload parts from the paint line and stack them. Keep accurate information as to what is hung on the line so when it is off loaded it can be tagged correctly.
Material Handler-Must be able, and willing to operate a fork lift in a very tight area. Maneuver 24’ stock grating throughout the manufacturing facility. Operate overhead cranes, Read a tape measure. Keep accurate paperwork. Unload trucks of steel coil, and wire coil. There will be day’s that staying past the end of your shift will be required.
Manual Shear/Rip Saw- Must be able to operate the equipment, make adjustments, and set up changes. Must be able to read a tape measure, operator a lift truck, and overhead cranes. Must be able to fill out production paperwork, and keep accurate time records.
Grating Saw- Must be able to operate the equipment, make adjustments and set up changes.. Must be able to read a tape measure, operator a lift truck, and overhead cranes. Must be able to fill out production paperwork, and keep accurate time records.
B&T-Must be able to read and understand paperwork to correctly bundle and tag outgoing material. This will include reading a tape measure. You must be able to operate a fork lift in tight areas. You must be willing to take direction from your department lead.
Shipping Department-Must be able and willing to operate a fork lift in a very tight area. Maneuver 24’ stock grating throughout the manufacturing facility. Keep accurate shipping documents. Read a tape measure. Work flexible schedules as most day’s there will be trucks loading after the scheduled shift has ended.
