Production Supervisor

Whiting & Davis is an American Fashion brand known as a pioneer in metal mesh fashion products, handbags, and accessories.
Founded 1876 as a silversmithing company, today we are a global brand with international distribution.

We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded professional with demonstrated leadership ability to manage our manufacturing assembly operations at our Pawtucket RI factory.

This position is responsible for supervising operations for all assembly work.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage manufacturing schedules to determine and meet shipment dates.
• Manage the production team to meet priorities by assigning job tasks.
• Insure all employees adhere to work schedules.
• Ensure quality standards are being met and policies/procedures are being followed. Develop new procedures when necessary.
• Attend a variety of meetings including production meetings to discuss workflow and process improvements.
• Develop and report key manufacturing metrics
• Produce monthly inventory and production reports.
• Maintain staffing levels as required based on order volume (new hires, terminations)
• Administer annual reviews, training, discipline, enforcement of company policies and procedures for direct reports
• Maintain time attendance system for direct reports
• Responsible for the quality of the product generated throughout the manufacturing area.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Engineering degree preferred
• Excellent mathematical and Analytical Skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with production of metal products highly preferred
• Fully proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
