Truss Production Job Summary

General Labor duties can include any position from Lumber Picker, Sawyer, Catcher, Builder or Stacker.

Truss Production Responsibilities & Duties

• Picker – Work outside to pick lumber according to size and grade
• Sawyer – Run an automated saw to cut lumber pieces for the assembly process
• Catcher – Stack cut pieces of lumber according to building criteria
• Builder – Work with a team to assemble roof & floor trusses according to design schematics
• Stacker – Stack, nail and band completed trusses
• Perform all duties in a manner consistent with safe practices and policies
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and necessary

Truss Production Qualification & Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use a tape measure
• Ability to earn forklift certification and demonstrate safe use is a plus
• Truss production, framing experience, and/or long load forklift experience is helpful
