Product Manager Job Description

Client is looking for a dedicated Product Manager to be the point person in our scrum team. The role will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the product development process. Other responsibilities include supporting the scrum team, managing backlog items, and optimizing the value of the product(s). You should also be able to lead the product development team toward achieving the vision and mission of the organization.

You will be in a unique position to build a greenfield product that revolutionizes the Mass-Tort industry. The strategy, vision and requirements that you build will facilitate the entirety of organization's business operations, and most importantly - fight for justice to those harmed!

Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Develop user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process
  • Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and gather continuous feedback
  • Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints

Product Manager Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Legal Services or Mass Tort industry experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, and other best-in-class product methodologies
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
