As a Procurement Database Administrator on the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will maintain procurement documents, tracking, and making sure all documents stay up to date.

The Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) consisting of Dragados, VINCI, and Flatiron has been selected to construct the $3.3BN Design Build project –the largest civil construction contract ever awarded by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The project scope across a 9-mile section of the I-64 will include: a new 3.5-mile bridge-tunnel crossing that will accommodate a total of 8 lanes of capacity across the water, replacement of the existing marine approach bridges and the addition of a third lane on I-64 in each direction. The twin 45’ diameter 1.5-mile tunnels will be bored by TBM, creating the second largest TBM tunnel opening for a TBM in North America.


Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the procurement team to confirm overall project requirements are being achieved with respect to contract management.
  • Save important documents on Sharepoint site
  • Assist in requesting insurance COI & verification, Title VI, VDOT Documents, & pre-qualification & D&B verification
  • Maintains master log in excel & make sure we are in compliance
  • Update excel logs for insurance, bonds and other documents received.
  • Maintains hard copies of important documents
  • Maintain Procurement Procedure Documents
  • Receives and report Subcontractor forms to VDOT.
  • Maintains original hard copy files onsite for all contracts for the project.
  • Scans documents.
  • Complete end of month reports by deadlines

Works closely with the Accounting Department and operations

  • Manages & oversees the FPO Process.
  • Produce Monthly excel reports
  • Help resolve invoices that aren’t paid due to procurement

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a procurement support role.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including word, excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Experience handling administrative work required to obtain certificates from subcontractors to properly set up accounts and perform federal reporting.
  • Previous VDOT project experience highly preferred
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure, deadline driven environment
  • Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion, and professional courtesy
