Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement, as a Procurement Analyst, you will provide supply chain management support to ensure expectations are met relative to delivery, quality, cost and inventory targets and product transfers between suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve procurement issues.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handles purchase of direct materials and non-product

  • Handles Outside processing parts

  • Performs supply/demand review and analysis, PO placement, follow-up/expedites deliveries, Inventory Control

  • Coordinate with internal department related to price matching, invoice aging, receiving, IQC and warehouse.

  • Works with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company

  • Effectively communicate forecasts and purchase orders to qualified suppliers based on Collin’s purchasing guidelines.

  • Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts

  • Works closely with strategic sourcing to advance enterprise-wide sourcing programs as appropriate.

  • Coordinates the planning of recent schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products and services.

  • Coordinates as appropriate quality matters and engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers.

  • Organizes and implements with direction from a supervisor, senior supervisor and/or the supply chain manager strategies to accomplish small business and disadvantaged business sourcing programs consistent with company guidelines.

  • Management of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Supplier quality performance, Supplier On time Delivery

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior logistics and supply chain experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of logistics and supply chain experience.

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing

  • Applied experience using ERP systems, including but not limited to JD Edwards and SAP
