ABOUT THE JOB

Set-up, document and monitor die casting to verify process and ensure the production of quality parts.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm, Fridays and weekends as needed
Starting Pay: $18 - $32 per hour, based on experience
Location: 1800 Albertson Road, High Point, NC

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Document die casting machine process parameters.
  • Assist in the machine process parameters at initial set-up.
  • Monitor and record key casting parameters per the predetermined schedule.
  • Make or recommend process adjustments to improve Quality or productivity.
  • Inspect parts to verify the quality of the parts being produced by the process.
  • This includes visual, fluoroscope and some measurements.
  • Assist in performing die cast set-ups.
  • Maintain clean workplace. Such other duties as are assigned from time-to-time.

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED

  • Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.
  • Knowledge of proper use of the measuring equipment.
  • High School Diploma preferred.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

  • Be at work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your ability.
  • Meet production targets (quoted rates) on a daily basis including efficiency %.
  • Meet scrap targets of less than 3% on a daily basis.
  • Be at work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your abilities.
  • Communicate problem areas with supervisors.
  • Follow all Quality Inspection processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work cell.
  • Assist trim / cast operators with production when feasible.
  • Document changes made to the process and verify that the changes match the current setup parameters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
