Job Summary:

The Principal Manufacturing Engineer will support as a Project Engineer for various development and production programs. This role includes Project Management and Manufacturing Engineering duties from factory line start up to support quality issues as part of driving successful balance of cost, quality and schedule for products and programs.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Applying manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs

Leverage knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions and results from new designs to recurring production

Design, control, and improve the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team

Lead and coordinate projects, efforts and improvements across the extended value streams

Act as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program

Identify and resolve constraints across the program

Participate in corrective action investigation

Provide technical input and peer review to engineering design changes

Provide technical guidance and problem solving to factory engineers

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.

Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Value:
