Position Overview:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

This job plays an integral role in implementing the vision of Dr. Brownfield and will oversee team members to accomplish daily duties, following all policies and procedures and providing excellence in patient care.

Daily Operations

  • Ensure team is aware of each day’s objectives in the schedule, and patients are appointed appropriately
  • Prepare daily production reports and charting protocols
  • Oversee team management, accountability, and alignment
  • Ensure procedures and policies are followed
  • Align with the doctor, PRD, Treatment Coordinators, and assistants to provide updates to referring practices and nurture referral relationships

Financial Operations

  • Accounts receivable, including credit card, client billing and insurance
  • Accounts payable

HR and Employee management

  • Hire, train, and terminate
  • Performance management & reviews
  • Employee relations

Reporting and Process Improvement

  • Ensure periodic production and collection goals are achieved and properly documented
  • Implement the latest health and safety protocols and maintain safety standards
  • Monitor practice systems and collaborate with team to tweak or develop new practices

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma
  • Excellent customer service and team building skills
  • 2+ years of experience in managing teams to achieve high performance
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or holidays.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, particularly in a team environment
  • Fluent computer and phone skills; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dental office experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; experience in retail, hospitality, or medical industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
