JOB SUMMARY:

The Pot Washer is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of all pots and pans in his/her designated work station.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Cleans and sanitizes all pots and pans.

· Washes cookware, dishes, glasses, and flatware in the dishwasher, making sure to remove all residues.

· Washes floor mats, speed racks, kettles, roasting pans, dollies, etc

· Washes and scrub kitchen walls to ensure cleanliness of kitchen area.

· Re-stocks the buffet lines with ice, china, flatware, and glassware.

· Empties trash cans and keeps the loading dock clean.

Clean refrigerators/freezers, service hallways, service elevators and other items as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Work prefers some kitchen experience.

· Work requires ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.

· Work requires ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.

· Work requires a neat appearance with good personal hygiene.

· Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Loud, fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to transport at least 100lbs at a time. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume in a timely manner.
