Hi! We are looking for a professional Porter to join out team in Manhattan, NY!
Job Description:
- Aid and assist with the moving of clients into permanent housing.
- Maintain vehicle.
- Assist with maintenance of interior/exterior of facility.
- Receive and store deliveries
- patients on trolleys or in wheelchairs
- stores and equipment
- samples of patients' blood
- linens
- post and parcels
- waste
- cylinders of gas
- trolleys of food and drink
Qualifications:
- friendly and helpful
- calm and reassuring
- physically fit for lifting, walking, pushing, etc
- reliable
- willing to work with staff and patients of all ages and from all walks of life
- health and safety aware
- able to follow instructions carefully

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- New York, NY 10003: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Porter: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
