Armonk Tennis Club is looking for a Water Safety Instructor to manage the pool for the summer of 2023. The WSI will be the point person in aquatics for our on-site summer camp and will be in charge of running the curriculum aligning with the Red Cross’ Learn-to-Swim program. In addition to overseeing the weekly swim assessments, there will be four separate groups of swim instruction and one group of free-swim each day Monday-Friday.
The WSI will be expected to be present for the entirety of the 9:00-4:00 camp day. They will work with management to create a schedule for the other guards on duty. The pool is open outside of camp hours, into the early evening during the week, and hours on Saturday and Sunday. Any hours outside of camp that are unstaffed by other guards will be the responsibility of the WSI to cover (for an additional hourly rate). The WSI will also work with management to cover any 30-minute swim lessons outside of camp hours (for an additional hourly rate).
The WSI must have a minimum of 3 years of lifeguarding experience. He/She must be certified or plan to be certified by the Red Cross WSI course (or other applicable course for Westchester County Camp Requirement). Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.

Pay: $650.00 - $750.00 per week
