Summary
The Police Pension Board consists of five members: two that are appointed by the Village President, two active members of the Police Department, and one retired beneficiary of the pension fund. The opening is for an appointed member. The Board has a fiduciary responsibility to the Police Pension Plan and its participants and, as such, must exercise prudent judgment in its oversight and administration of the pension fund. A background in Finance is a plus!

Term
The vacant seat has a term of two years. Term will expire two years from the date of the appointment.

Residency Requirements
Candidates applying for a vacant Police Pension Board position must reside within the corporate limits of Carpentersville for at least one year.
