We are seeking Pole/Anchor Truck Operators to work out of Rome, GA region. Duties will placing Utility Poles, installing/repairing cable, operation of heavy equipment (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Bucket Truck, Pole Truck, Digger Derrick, etc.), grounds restoration, flagging, and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities with specific Pole Truck experience required. CDL required. Other work opportunities may be available out of our Marietta, Alpharetta, & Lithia Springs areas.

Overview:
Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking Pole/Anchor Truck Operators to work out of Rome, GA region. Duties will placing Utility Poles, installing/repairing cable, operation of heavy equipment (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Bucket Truck, Pole Truck, Digger Derrick, etc.), grounds restoration, flagging, and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities with specific Pole Truck experience required. CDL required. Other work opportunities may be available out of our Marietta, Lithia Springs, & Rome areas.
Responsibilities:
- Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck)
- Places Utility Poles
- Locates other buried wiring/cabling
- Install underground telecommunications cabling
- Flagging (directing safe coordination of vehicles and equipment within general public areas where worksites are active)
- Property or worksite restoration, inspect equipment, work quality, specifications, etc. of work crews
- Will be required at times to work in congested or remote areas
- Work with arms above shoulder level at times and at variable heights
- Performs general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50-75lbs, etc)
- Performs other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities with specific Pole Truck experience required
- CDL required
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
