This is a Dealer Trainee position. All you need is a great personality and willingness to learn – we will teach you everything else!!!

We will be holding group-style interviews on Thursday March 2nd @ 11:00a.

PAY: Pays $15hr while in training (FT/PT positions available upon successful completion of training)
SCHEDULE: Classes begin Monday March 6th. M-F class time varies.
COURSE LENGTH: 6 - 8 weeks (Regular attendance is mandatory)

JOB SUMMARY
Provides high quality customer service and promotes integrity while serving as a dealer for specific, licensed poker games.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Proof of experience as a dealer with a licensed casino or completion of an approved training course in card games. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Must be able to perform basic math calculations. Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public. This is an entry-level position requiring a High School diploma or GED, and some customer service experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and/ or work experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform the act of dealing cards and for specific games which includes shuffling, dealing and retrieving playing cards.
  • Responsible for game protection and game control.
  • Responsible for placing lids on racks.
  • Inform Supervisor and/or Manager of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on game.
  • Knows and abides by IGC Regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Verifies opening and closing table inventory slips.
  • Calls out for “no more bets”.
  • Exchanges cash or coupons for chips.
  • Collects rake, collects commission based on game dealt.
  • Pays winning bets, collects losing bets.

*PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS*

  • Must be able to deal, stand and/or sit for two (2) hour intervals.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, grab, grip, sort and stack.
  • Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
