A craft beer entrepreneur, a world-renowned impact investor, and a renowned chef go plant-based for their health, for the animals, and for the planet. We meet and dream up a concept that combines the world’s best craft beers with plant-based versions of their favorite pub foods. They call it, PlantPub. Brilliant!

PlantPub is on a mission to make plant-based food approachable and fun for all, allowing people to eat better for themselves and better for the planet in a setting that is familiar and social, the pub. With a focus on supporting the most sustainable local farmers, craft brewers, and the best plant-based brands on the market, we are redefining the pub.

We are looking for Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our team!

• First things first, you’re a good person. You treat others right.
• You have some experience working in restaurants and kitchens.
• You want to be a part of PlantPub from the beginning and grow with us.
• Bonus points if you’re about that plant-based life, but it's ok if you aren't yourself

Tasks:

• A desire to make delicious food and grow in a great company!
• Maintain a friendly, positive, and service-focused attitude throughout the shift
• Knowledge of recipes and preparation
• Prepare food with care for the best quality and presentation
• Work to create a No Waste Kitchen
• Keep It Clean! Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
• Prep and set up the line, organize, label and rotate stocked food items
• Communicate with managers and work as a team
• Be able to operate large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, fryers, stoves, and willing to learn new tasks
• Prepare and cook food according to orders.
• Maintains a friendly and service-focused attitude throughout the shift
• Complete tasks for shift transition and closing.
• Check in and out with the Kitchen Manager when starting and ending the shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
