GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF CLASS
The purpose of the class is to learn to monitor and control the operation of a steam plant system and equipment. The class works under general supervision, according to set procedures, but determines how or when to complete tasks.
High school diploma or GED.
Some experience in high pressure (250 PSI or over) steam generating plant operations or closely related experience preferred
Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria.
