GENERAL SUMMARY
The parts picker is responsible for
accurately picking parts for both payable and in-house workorders. Parts picker will also help out the shipping dept when needed. Shipper is responsible for ensuring proper shipment of goods and materials. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
* Follow proper kitting ISO instructions for both payable and in-house workorders.
* Process spare part shipments
* Complete bills of lading for ground shipments
* Ensure goods/crates are properly loaded for pickup on designated freight carrier at time of shipment
* Organize and schedule pick-ups with freight forwarders

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
* Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
* Follow all safety rules and quality standards
* Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
* Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 100 pounds), or using a hoist
* Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above
* Follow all company rules and policies

COMPETENCIES
* Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
* Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethic
* Must be reliable with a strong work ethic

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Required to have basic carpentry skills
* Knowledge of UPS, Federal Express, and DHL software
* Experience with proper procedures for filling out bills of lading for ground shipments
* Must be able to build crates without drawings based on viewing finished products
* Manual dexterity; able to operate various handheld buffing tools for achieving desired surface on finished goods before shipping
*Must be able to follow proper ISO instructions for mechanical inspection on finished goods

*Must have good communication skills
*Must have good organizational skills
*Must be detail oriented
*Ability to work independently without continuous instruction
*Ability to multi-task

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:
