Physician Liaison

At Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital, our commitment to providing extraordinary health care begins with our outstanding team of caring professionals and extends to our communities. We are currently seeking a dynamic sales professional for the role of Physician Liaison for our extensive campus. Representing a full continuum of care inclusive of Acute and Subacute Rehabilitation, Outpatient Rehabilitation, and Long Term Care, this individual will play an integral role in advancing physician relationships that lend to the development of programming, partnerships, and overall campus occupancy.

A bit about this amazing opportunity and what you will be responsible for:

Developing, fostering, and enhancing Physician relationships within the community, hospital, and local clinics.

Developing a working knowledge of Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital’s clinical services, programs, and strategic focuses.

Responsible for directly contacting physicians in their office, clinical and hospital settings and is expected to spend approximately 70% of their time in the field working independently.

A key responsibility will be working with physicians in Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital’s service area to understand needs, troubleshoot problems, communicate new programs and outreach activities, and communicate back to hospital/ campus administration.

Please have the following qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician relations, network development, or a similar role in hospital marketing or business development.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Nursing or Education preferred.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate personal initiative, poise, confidence, and a professional image.

The ability to interact with physicians, physician extenders, and office staff in a professional manner is required.

Candidates should be articulate in oral and written communication, must possess good time management and organizational skills, and be customer and results-oriented.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and report activity and outcomes in a daily communication summary.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.

Knowledge of physicians, their referral patterns, and area hospitals is helpful.

Knowledge of the greater Lawrenceville / Princeton/ Mercer county healthcare market is ideal.
