$77,494 - $90,000 a year
  • Care for patients with a variety of acute and chronic GI diseases, including but not limited to disorders of upper and lower GI Tract - this includes both new patient consultations and follow-up visits in an outpatient setting.
  • Conduct history of present illness and physical examination.
  • Establish a medical diagnosis, order and evaluate diagnostic studies, and prescribe and regulate medications, under direct or indirect supervision of physician.
  • Assess and/or manage follow-up plans within the protocols and practice plans approved by the supervising physician.
  • Return patient phone calls for physician for test results and other questions regarding medical care.
  • Review pathology reports for upper and lower GI procedures and insure proper follow up.
  • Perform peer to peer for procedures and diagnostic imaging denied.
  • At least one year of clinical experience working as a Physician Assistant. Previous experience working in gastroenterology preferred. Salary to commensurate with experience. BLS/ACLS Certification

Pay: $77,493.96 - $90,000.00 per year

  • EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
