The Taylor Site will be Samsung's largest facility in the USA. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). With greater manufacturing capacity, we will be able to better serve the needs of our customers and contribute to the stability of the global semiconductor supply chain.

The Photolithography department focuses on delivering solutions by developing 24x7x365 teams of elite, fab-oriented, excursion-free, safety and quality minded members. As part of the Photo Reticle team, you will work together to support one another and our customers regardless of organizational boundaries.

As part of the Photo Reticle Team you will provide support by performing reticle inspections, cleaning and reticle defect decisions.

Specific Job Duties

  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Inspect reticles using automated and non-automated equipment.
  • Clean reticles using automated and non-automated equipment.
  • Perform the reticle repelling process as needed.
  • Complete wafer and reticle decisions based on defect levels and impact.
  • Monitor and respond to abnormal photo reticle equipment signals.
  • Document and improve reticle issues, SOPs, BKMs and OCAPs
  • Attend and contribute in daily tactical meetings with internal Photo teams about reticle performance and metrics.
  • Prioritize your work in alignment with the photo departments level priorities and understand your part in achieving company goals.
  • Assist other team members and areas, when possible, to help meet production goals.
  • Practice 6S methodology
  • Work in a cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day, wearing cleanroom attire.
  • Work area has sudden alarms with sounds exceeding 65dB and color vision and close vision is required.
  • Employee is frequently required to walk, and use hands without tremors.
  • Employee is occasionally required to stand, and lift and move objects of 25 pounds.

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

  • 2 yr. technical degree or equivalent Semiconductor experience
  • Military background (if applicable)



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

  • Lasertec, KLA, SUSS, SEMES and other Photo equipment experience
  • Familiar with Clean Room Environment
  • Problem Solving: Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Experience using KT analysis techniques, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and flow charts.
  • Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, FDC, yield analysis and other standard engineering and manufacturing practices.

Work Hour Expectations - Shifts, Weekends, Overtime, On call
