Phlebotomist Job at Tanner Clinic
Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Phlebotomist.
Location: Layton
Hours: PT Friday 6:45am-5:15pm and Saturday 7:45am-12:15pm
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment to efficiently collect blood samples.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients as directed by physician and following medical practice protocols related to safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
- Clean/sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
- Inventory supplies to ensure adequate supplies for procedures.
Expectations for Success:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a phlebotomy school.
- Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience.
- CPR certification preferred.
