Pharmacy Technician Job at Medicine Shoppe Pevely

Medicine Shoppe Pevely Pevely, MO 63070

We are in immediate need of a full-time or part-time technician that may be splitting time between the Affton and Pevely Medicine Shoppes. Hours would mostly be at the Pevely location sometime from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. every other Saturday. Hours may vary depending on the needs of our patients. We have high interest in a technician trained to administer Covid vaccines and Covid tests because we are fulfilling an immunization grant in partnership with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MO DHSS).

We also have high interest in a technician to become a community health worker and be willing to speak with patients about opioid use disorders in order to help with the opioid epidemic. Training will be provided as part of a grant with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in collaboration with St. Louis College of Pharmacy, the Missouri Pharmacy Association, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy, and Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, as a community health-worker, this technician must be willing to speak to patients about their blood pressure and assist the pharmacist in documenting information from the patients about their blood pressure.
