Hospitality Consultants is looking for a personal/executive assistant who is self motivated and result driven professional. This person will be the righthand to the CEO. The ideal fit for this role should be a outside-of-the-box thinker, reliable, rock solid, detailed oriented problem solver who can cross the finish line.

Essential Functions

  • Take the initiative to finish tasks responsiblyAbility to problem solve with vendors, research, and follow up through resolution.
  • Mange multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Assisting project/construction management
  • Meets with contractors, developers, architects to answer questions regarding the Zoning Ordinance and design review.
  • Schedules pre-construction and pre-demolition meetings with contractors and owners.
  • Runs said meetings, which examines all approved plans, truck logistics, site screening, duration of project.
  • Reviews at the meetings the Town regulations for construction, including work hours, three-strike program, and construction site management.
  • Perform the mandatory design inspections of new construction.
  • Perform plan review for zoning and design compliance of incoming building permit applications.
  • Prepare zoning information letters for lending institutions, attorneys, and perform analyses and participate in the preparation of various current projects and reports.
  • Carries out public information, administration, and other special assignments.
  • Performs other site inspections as needed.
  • Assists the Director and Asst. Director with administrative tasks including budgeting, staff recruitment, and other duties as requested.
  • Notifies suspected code violators of code requirements and makes an effort to resolve any violations before sending matters to the Code Enforcement division.
  • Performs other related tasks as required.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in public capital projects, assisting project / construction management professionals to oversee construction contractors and to collaborate with project delivery teams for the successful completion of public infrastructure and facilities. Strong written and verbal communications skills and knowledge of, and ability to interpret, construction plans and details, technical specifications, contract requirements, engineering drawings, are critical requirements of the position.
