Job Description


Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Payroll Coordinator position. The payroll coordinator is responsible for supporting payroll processing and the Human Resource payroll functions within Norco. This position will serve as an internal resource to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and local payroll wage and hour laws and best practices. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and support semimonthly payroll
  • Administer time keeping system to ensure employees compliance with policies
  • Calculate and enter commissions, bonus pay, auto allowance into the payroll system
  • Oversee annual processing of W-2’s

Qualifications


Successful candidates will have experience with payroll processes and an understanding of the various payroll process over the employee life cycle from new employee set up to separation.

We are looking for a team member that has

  • Understanding of preparing and processing payroll transactions including salaries, commissions, benefits, garnishment, and other deductions
  • Understanding of preparing and processing payroll taxes
  • familiarity with employment laws that impact payroll and benefits as well as working knowledge of basic Human Resource concepts in relation to payroll.
  • Excellent excel and spreadsheet management skills
  • ADP experience a plus
