Payroll Analyst Job at Motive Companies
Participates in implementation planning, requirements gathering, configuration changes, system build, testing, rollout and post-implementation support for acquisitions, spins and new company codes with ADP, as well as processing and auditing first payroll processing for new company codes.
Performs testing and debugging of data prior to moving solutions into the production environment.
Sets up and follows through with new state setups (both with the State and ADP).
Audits payroll for historical variances.
Supports the Payroll team by performing configuration fixes and updates.
Possesses solid understanding of multi-state payroll processing cycle including but not limited to payroll taxes (Federal, State, Local, other), Gross to Net Calculations and General Ledger impact.
Configures earnings and deduction codes while defining and maintaining systems balances.
Creates and/or updates document test plans, upgrades and new system releases and develops, tests, installs and modifies programs.
Builds and helps complete SOP’s for prevailing wage payroll.
Partners with IT to ensure coordination of systems, integrations, and business requirements.
Troubleshoots and resolves system problems encountered by end users.
Creates SOP’s for managers for timekeeping system (ADP Essential Time).
Provides training (user training documentation) on ADP Essential Time and helps set up standard reports for managers/end users.
Provides support for ADP mobile app.
Processes and backs up payroll processing.
Supports all payroll interfaces and resolves issues of both employees and vendors.
All other duties as required.
