Patient Scheduling Coordinator Job at Staffing Partners, Inc.
Staffing Partners Inc. has an immediate opening for a Patient Scheduling Specialist to join our client's growing team! This is a direct hire opportunity with a healthcare organization in the Bloomington area. This is an in-office role with a Monday-Friday schedule - no nights or weekends.
We are looking for someone who has at least 1-2 years of Medical Scheduling experience, as well as knowledge of different insurance plans and strong communication skills. If this sounds like you then please submit your resume today!
Duties of Patient Scheduling Specialist:
- Schedules patient appointments both over the phone, as well as face-to-face
- Communicates patient and schedule updates with patients, providers and physicians
- Main point of contact for patient scheduling needs
- Maintains HIPAA policies and confidentiality
- Verifies insurance requirements are met for procedures
- Responsible for Scheduling department scheduling, including team and personnel management
- Hiring and training of new team members
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Requirements of Patient Scheduling Specialist:
- A High School diploma or GED
- 6 months of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
- 1-2 years of experience with patient scheduling in a healthcare environment
- Strong attention to detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
