Full Time - Monday - Friday (clinic hours), no weekends!

Job Summary:

The Patient Relationship Coordinator (PRC) is a positive influencer that guides the patient to commit to the recommended treatment plan prescribed by APR's providers. The PRC is responsible for tracking and guiding the patient to follow through with the designed care plan. The PRC will provide clarity on prescribed treatment plan, provide financial counseling, and explain insurance details with patients.

We are looking for someone with exceptional influencing skills and the ability to have financial conversations with patients. Our PRCs are naturally enthusiastic leaders in the clinic who are team players and drive results in the clinic.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients entering and exiting the office
  • Drive shift meeting
  • Complete Insurance Verifications
  • Complete prior authorizations
  • Obtain Provider Prescription form, outline treatment plan based on prescription form
  • Understand and explain insurance terminology
  • Complete the Review of Findings with patients
  • Answer patient's questions regarding care, finances, or insurance
  • Schedule patients in EMR system
  • Collect payment
  • Explain consent forms and have patient's sign
  • Scan documents into EMR system
  • Communicate with staff via Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of procedures completed by providers in office and the ASC
  • Data entry into the compliance and production sheets
  • Answer phones and complete phone calls to uncompliant patients
  • Support Front Office Coordinator (FOC) as needed
  • Enter and manage Microsoft Planners
  • Attend dinner events and schedule new patients

  • Enjoys making others smile and building relationships
  • A High School Diploma or GED with equivalent work experience.
  • At least one-year related work experience
  • EMR experience is preferred
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree is referred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
  • Requires the effective use of office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, phones, and printers.
  • Ability to sit at computer terminal for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate via telephone.
  • Ability to communicate in an active office environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Education and Experience:

  • A High School Diploma or GED with equivalent work experience
  • At least one-year related work experience
  • EMR experience is preferred
  • Sales experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred

  • Ability to sit at computer terminal for extended periods of time.
