Patient Registrar – NYP Westchester Medical Group - Day

Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you'll obtain demographic details, insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients obtaining services. You will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.
This is a full time day (40 hours) position at NYP Medical Group Westchester located at 540 Gramatan Ave, Yonkers, NY
Preferred Criteria
Some college
Knowledge of health insurance benefits/requirements
Epic experience
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
One year of clerical experience
