Job Summary: The Parts Associate is responsible for entering incoming parts into the company’s inventory system, checking stock levels and insuring that we have the parts on hand to service the customer. This position also assists with cycle counting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter parts and quotes into our order inventory system
- Receives, stores and issues material jobs.
- Receives, unpacks and stores incoming materials, parts and supplies and requisitions
- Assist with sourcing and ordering parts and inventory control
- Check in stock inventory on a daily basis
- Computer skills required for spreadsheet and database parts ordering and inventory
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper equipment and lifting technique
- Maintain stock at a level that enables internal servicing and repair departments to complete their work without delay.
- General Math skills as well as the ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Team player with some experience in a shop or parts department/crib environment
- Backup for incoming jobs, tag, photograph and complete all documentation timely
