The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
- Locates and acquires data from existing data locations as needed to support analytics and reporting
- Organizes and cleans acquired data to remove quality issues and provides relevant information, which may include developing samples used to create analytics models or reports
- Performs analysis to address data quality issues and identifies automation opportunities in order to create standardized reports
- Produces standard and ad hoc reports
- Supports the effort to closing data quality gaps by identifying areas that need to be changed and escalating as appropriate
- Participates in creating analytics models by applying data knowledge throughout the modeling process to ensure the data is valid, accurate, and applicable for the intended usage
This position is not available to students on immigration visas.
What Skills You Need
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in an Information Technology, Math, Economics, or Statistics discipline; others may apply- Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
- Graduation date of May 2024 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 4 PM CST
- Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 4 PM CST
- May require onsite orientation trip to East Moline, Illinois, at manager's discretion
- Some programming skills necessary to create and maintain applications
- Some knowledge of statistical analysis, economics, and trend forecasting
- Some knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
What Makes You Stand Out
Previous experience with data modeling tools and managing multiple logical and physical data models- Understanding of Manufacturing or previous industry experience
- Data Analytics experience
- Python, Power-BI, or Java Script Experience
